Our Next Steps Clinic is designed to offer you a personalized strategic battle plan for the year ahead!
To participate, writers will submit a one-pager with their bio, loglines, requests/traction they have had and questions about where to go from where they are.
In This 2-Hour Clinic You Will:
- Get tips on how to form a strategy for writing, marketing, and pitching
- Learn how to formulate a plan to help you envision realistic goals for the coming year
- Learn when to work on your craft and when to market your material
- Learn what you should be doing for where you want to go
John Thomas is a literary manager at LBI Entertainment, working with both television and film writers / directors at various levels. After attending Temple University in Philadelphia, he moved to Los Angeles in 2015 where he got his start working for Temple graduates Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim's Abso Lutely Productions. He worked as an Agent Trainee in the TV lit department at Paradigm Talent Agency for two years before transitioning to LBI in 2017.
John works with several of LBI clients' production companies - Martin Scorsese's Sikelia, Jonah Hill's Strong Baby, and Jennifer Lawrence's Excellent Cadaver - on different projects in various stages of development and production.
