Fairly open on genre, but here are some areas of focus at the moment.
High concept, action/adventure, action/comedy, things with cars/racing or heist (e.g. ITALIAN JOB, OCEAN'S 11)
Smart action-thriller, think NOBODY
Things with a clear "why now?", hopeful
Female driven, female driven genre/horror, high concept/female driven comedy (PITCH PERFECT, DEVIL WEARS PRADA, BAD MOMS, etc)
Elevated horror., e.g. A QUIET PLACE
Thriller, scifi thriller, romantic/mystery thriller e.g. GONE GIRL
true stories that are commercial, things that can be a bit of a trojan horse - I.e. a commercial/genre premise but a different spin, or different POV than we've seen
Things in a specific world and have a fresh take into it (THE BEAR)
Elevated, smart, with heart - something with relatable themes
BIPOC characters in something genre, or very driven, aspirational characters (think BIPOC version of WHIPLASH)
Faith based
