Ultimately there are a lot of right answers here. Each project is different but the note that remains the same is you need to understand your show inside and out. Be ready to answer everything, from the logistical (how does this story move forward?) to the more abstract (how do characters A and B influence one another?). Showing that confidence in yourself as a creator and your show as a viable project are crucial. In terms of general specifics I look for—In TV, your characters make or break your project. Underdeveloped characters put a show in jeopardy. Make them strong! In film, strong characters are crucial, but structure is key. Know the ins and outs of your project!
Primarily focused in the Comedy space—all styles, particularly those blending Comedy/Drama elements well (i.e. RUSSIAN DOLL, BARRY). On the Drama side: biopics, historical works, and high-concept storylines.

Tommy Stackhouse currently works at Framework. Prior he was working in the Talent Group at Brillstein Entertainment Partners (JINGLE JANGLE: A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY; CENTRAL PARK). Prior to this, he spent four years in the Talent Department at WME (DON’T BREATHE; CALL ME BY YOUR NAME), where he was elevated to the role of TV Talent Coordinator. Tommy has produced films that have been screened internationally and in the US, with several of his titles landing distribution deals through Amazon, Google Play, and other online platforms. Before moving to Los Angeles, Tommy worked in production, with credits in the Location Management, Assistant Director, and Production Management departments. Tommy is an avid reader who’s actively searching for exciting new voices to work with.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration for a refund or Roadmap gift card if you have not yet submitted your material for review. However, once your material has been received by Roadmap, your registration cannot be canceled. Having revised material or a desire to retroactively apply a discount or gift card code are not grounds for cancellation, refunds, or gift card credit. Once your material has been submitted, the only acceptable grounds for cancellation and a refund or gift card credit is an unforeseen, ongoing emergency on the part of either the writer or the exec resulting in more than 6 weeks without any scheduling update from the exec via direct contact or Roadmap, or a sudden change in the exec's ongoing availability. In the instance of an irreconcilable scheduling issue, the writer may still receive a written feedback report from the exec. In this case, the writer is not entitled to a refund or gift card credit as the exec has read the submitted material and provided written feedback in lieu of the call.
