Pitch Tips

Keep the pitch conversational as opposed to presentational. Your project feels more personal if I get the sense you're leveling with me as a human instead of putting on a show. I'm not focused on the cool conceits of your script so much as the story itself and whatever human dilemma is at the center of it. If it's a comedy pitch, find ways to make me laugh!

Tori Chancellor presently works at Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions (Seth Meyers & Mike Shoemaker) as the assistant to the VP of development & production. She is also the executive producer of the 2023 acclaimed sitcom web series THE PARTY, which garnered numerous awards including Best Ensemble Cast at LA Web Fest and Best Streaming Content at GenCon. Previously, she worked as a literary assistant at Brillstein Entertainment Partners on a variety of projects such as the television reboot of THE MIGHTY DUCKS for Disney+ and Kaley Cuoco- led date night thriller ROLE PLAY. An avid enthusiast and participant in sketch and improv comedy, Tori's favorite intersection of media is where comedy meets genre.

How it Works

Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email, you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than midnight PT on the Friday before your session.
The week before your session, you will receive an email from Zoom with the link to your session.
You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 7 to 10 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
