Matt Toronto's feature, FACE 2 FACE, premiered at the Edmonton International Film Festival where it won the "Brian Hendricks Jury Award for Innovation." NOW AVAILABLE ON NETFLIX, iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. He also recently completed the short horror/thriller, HARPER FINCH. He is developing several television pilot's with his wife, Jordan, including the half-hour comedy, MOVE ON, which landed in the Top 10 of The Tracking Board's 2016 Launchpad Pilot's competition. His feature film, THE PACT, has played in festivals around the world garnering a variety of awards including “Best of Festival,” South Dakota Film Festival; “Best Feature & Best Director,” American International Film Festival; “Best Feature & Audience Choice,” Wet Your Pants Comedy Film Festival; “People’s Choice,” Black Hills Film Festival; “Best Ensemble Cast,” Best Actors (in a) Film Festival; and The Bronze Palm, Mexico International Film Festival. As a theatre director he has worked in New York City at The York Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Abingdon Theatre, American Theatre of Actors, The Gallery Players, The Rosetta Festival, The NAMT Festival and Radio City Music Hall. Regionally he has directed at The Fulton Theatre, The Walnut Street Theatre, The Theatre at Monmouth and Pennsylvania Centre Stage where he directed the world premiere of the musical Ordinary Days. Matt began his professional career as an actor, performing in national tours, Off-Broadway and regionally including five seasons in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular dancing alongside the Rockettes!
