Ah, comedy. There's so many different ways you can take it, and so many different avenues you can choose to pursue. You can be a stand up, a writer on a narrative TV show, or you can write for a sketch type show. But how does that last one work? How do you put sketches together, build a portfolio and actually do the job once you've got it?
To answer all this and more, Roadmap favorite Jack Herrguth is here with a special four week class designed to help you build your sketch packet!
This Four Week Class Will Cover:
- Different types of sketches
- Monologue jokes (a la Fallon or Kimmel)
- Desk Pieces
- Studio Games
Jack Herrguth is a writer (SISTER, SISTER), executive producer (GALAXY QUEST: IT’S ALL REAL), and entertainment executive (Comedy Central’s NATHAN FOR YOU). He has been successful in digital arenas as well, heading up development for Chris Hardwick's multi-media empire, Nerdist. Jack recently developed the half-hour comedy KILLING IT with Paul Feig.
