I'm always drawn to animation, comedy, and scifi -- across both film and television. For TV I'm drawn to higher-concept adult animation but love anything silly. I also prefer grounded sci-fi or near-fi for TV. I prefer more epic sci-fi projects in the features space and sillier or moving animation in features as well (e.g. MEMOIR OF A SNAIL, FLOW, FANTASTIC MR. FOX, WALL-E, SHREK).
Generally averse to heavy horror (especially religious-related) and excessively bloody or gory projects. I do enjoy things with levity however (e.g. SCREAM, BODIES BODIES BODIES, TALK TO ME, THE BOYS). I don't mind period pieces but they don't ever seem to work in TV unless there's enough to make it fun (e.g. THE GREAT). I also find myself avoiding very dark, depressing dramas, especially those with unsatisfying, sad endings.
